About Us

This webpage was initially created as a requirement for an module called Ethics, Technology and Policy run by the Engineering department under the supervision of Dr. Chris Kent.

This module is designed to give students an understanding of the complexities of the social and ethical implications of applications of science and technology in the world of the 21st century and to enable them to conduct their work in a morally defensible manner. It will consider the many ethical dilemmas which can arise when developing and implementing new technology.
